Happy New Year!

We had a classic kid moment today. Utah desperately needed some exercise, so - despite the cold and the lack of sunshine - we were all bundling up to go to the park and play in the snow. Chris and I got ourselves ready first, then we started wrestling Cailan into his snow bibs, coat, boots, and mittens. Getting his thumbs into the thumbs of his mittens is kind of like threading a needle with a fat piece of overcooked spaghetti. While blindfolded. Finally the mittens were on, he was ready to go, so I went to put Utah's leash on him. And then Cailan's wee voice rings out: "I need to pee!"
