New Truck- Day 6
One of the joys of living in GJ is the quick access to vastly different areas. As we say "It's in the middle of nothing, but it's 90 min from everything". Last Thursday (3 days ago) we drove to Moab to go biking in the sunshine. Today -Up to the Mesa! The snow is amazing right now and I imagine the skiing would be great. I know that the snowshoeing was. Granted it was a bit deep and kind of hard work, but there were no crowds at all. Cailan had some issues starting out (mostly related to clothing as his new coat was too stiff and his gloves kept him from properly holding his dinos to make prints in the snow), but after a thorough cry-out and a snack, he was at least ready to go for a ride.
Heather and I enjoyed it, and once Cailan started thinking about Snow Monsters and Marshmellow Monsters he was very excited to check out everything he could make Heather carry him to. However, the award for "The Most Excitement and/or Fun on the Trip" goes to Utah.
He is very happy about the new truck.
